I saw “Hot Fuzz” last week. Loved it. Laughed out loud over and over again. But about halfway through it suddenly occurred to me that I had probably missed a ton of in-jokes throughout the film. I probably need to see it again, but after the jump are the two Shaun of the Dead references that I definitely got (spoiler alert if you haven’t seen the film). Hopefully I’ll think of more at some point.

  • While Nicholas is chasing the shoplifter around the supermarket, Danny’s looking at DVDs in the bargain bin. As he throws one of the DVDs back into the bin before he helps Nicholas, we see that Shaun of the Dead is also in the bargain bin.
