Stress stress stress…but great burgers
I developed a theory recently. I’m 99% sure that all the football results for all the matches ever to be played are already planned out and written down somewhere. That somehow, someway, fate has stepped in and no matter what happens during a match, sometimes the result is pre-destined.
How else can I explain Liverpool getting through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League? Yet again, ridiculously stressful near the end but an aggregate score saw the team through to the next round. Good stuff.
Even better was the burger that I had. Aberdeen Angus burgers from Sainsbury’s butchers counter are without doubt the best I’ve had. As long as they’re in a burger bun with red onion, lettuce, cornichons and a healthy dose of ketchup. Oh, and some cheese melting on top of the burger.
Not exactly low-calorie, but delicious nonetheless. And I did go through a period where I decided burgers were good luck when watching Liverpool matches. Since it paid off today, I may have to have them more often.
