MBT Trainers
For some reason, over the years, my posture has got worse and worse. I realise that the fact that I’ve made that statement whilst sitting at a computer might just explain why exactly my posture is so bad, but I really needed to do something about it. So when I was in London last week I bit the bullet and was fitted for some of these fancy MBT trainers that are supposed to help your posture (and apparently eventually if you keep using them over the months they tone your legs as well and I really can’t complain if they do that!)
Hopefully they’ll work. I noticed an immediate difference in the way I walked when I was wearing them. I guess because I was so concerned with walking in the correct way I was thinking about the way I walked for the first time in a while. With any luck it’ll have an ongoing effect. We shall see…
We have three trainers testing the MBT in different ways and each has said they did not realise how lazy they had gotten in terms of posture and this is where the MBT trainer makes all the difference. Well done for trying them out! Sorry they are so expensive in London!
The staggering thing to me was how quickly they made a difference. I’m now at the point where my posture is better when I’m walking in other shoes as well. It may be that I just want them to work because of the initial cost of them, but I swear my legs are more toned as well. Definitely a worthwhile investment though.
